The DGII presents the Automatic Information Exchange Portal, enabled to comply with the "International Tax Compliance Enhancement Agreement" and to implement FATCA (IGA-1) and the Automatic Information Exchange Agreements signed by the Dominican Republic. Through this platform, those obligated under IGA-1 must submit tax information to the DGII for transmission to the "Competent Authority of the United States" (IRS).
